• West Georgia Technical College's Funeral Service Education Program Prepares Students to Serve in a High-Demand Industry (thecitymenus.com) — Bremen-area residents now have a direct pathway into the high-demand funeral service field through West Georgia Technical College’s new program at the Murphy Campus in nearby Waco. The program, which already partners with local funeral homes and has hired students, offers hands-on training in embalming, bereavement care, and funeral home operations, with applications open now for the spring 2027 cohort.
