• Henrico Schools to host annual 'Back-to-School Kickoff' event Aug. 15 (henricocitizen.com) — Families in Glen Allen can mark their calendars for Henrico Schools’ free Back-to-School Kickoff on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center on All Star Boulevard. The event runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with backpacks, school supplies, vaccinations, entertainment, and chances to meet school leaders, all aimed at getting students ready for the 2026-27 year.
