Charges Pending In Assault By Juveniles At Fairfax City Park: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax police are investigating an assault involving two groups of juveniles that happened Thursday afternoon at a city park, according to authorities.

Officers were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. for the report of an assault at Kutner Park, which is located at 3901 Jermantown Road, according to a police spokesman. Investigators believe that there were fewer than eight juveniles involved in the assault.

One injury was reported and the injured person was treated at the scene by paramedics, according to the police spokesman.

On Friday morning, the case remained under investigation and charges were pending, the spokesman said.
