Domestic Assault Charge Filed Against Fairfax Sheriff's Deputy

FAIR OAKS, VA — A deputy with the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office was arrested late Friday afternoon for a domestic-related assault in the Fair Oaks area, according to authorities.

Fairfax County police officers responded around 4:43 p.m. to the 4200 block of Summit Corner Drive to investigate the report of a domestic incident. The victim told police they were assaulted by Katherine Lepkowski, 36, a FCSO deputy, during an argument, according to the incident report.

The officers located Lepkowski and took her into custody. She was charged with assault on a family member and released on a summons-releasable warrant, according to police.
