Motorcyclist Killed In Crash While Exiting I-495 In Fairfax Co.
Virginia State Police are investigating an early morning crash on an exit ramp from the Capital Beltway in Fairfax County on Wednesday.
FAIRFAX, VA — A motorcyclist was killed early Wednesday as the result of a crash while exiting the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 in Fairfax County, according to Virginia State Police.
While exiting northbound I-495 on the ramp to eastbound Route 50, a motorcyclist lost control of their bike on the wet pavement and crashed into a guardrail, according to VSP.
The motorcycle driver was the only fatality in the crash and no other injuries were reported, according to the state police. The identity of the motorcyclist has not be release.
