ā¢ Large fuel spill forces partial closure of Duncan Bridge Road and Willingham Avenue (nowgeorgia.com) ā Drivers in Baldwin saw Duncan Bridge Road and Willingham Avenue shut down for hours Friday morning after a fuel spill from a vendor truck heading to Fieldale spread in the rain. The slick stretch ran from GA 365 to Fieldaleās Gainesville Highway headquarters before cleanup crews and multiple agencies reopened the roads.

ā¢ Baldwin man charged with kidnapping after police chase (nowgeorgia.com) ā A man from Baldwin faces kidnapping, drug, and traffic-related charges after deputies say he fled a traffic stop and was stopped with a PIT maneuver on U.S. 441 Bypass near the Baldwin Road Connector. The Thursday night pursuit temporarily shut down southbound lanes but ended without injuries, and investigators are still reviewing the kidnapping and false imprisonment allegations. Ā Ā Ā
